At the age of thirteen, Brian Scott started his musical career. He organized and managed four local Louisiana bands, who performed charismatically with marginal success. In 1997 Brian established the band, "One Eyed Mickey." Playing at clubs including Tipitinas, Chevy's, and The Howlin Wolf, One Eyed Mickey also gained marginal success throughout the New Orleans area. There he put out his second cd titled "Brian Scott" recorded in the beautiful Pass Christian MS. Produced and recorded by "Billy Harshbarger" of 3 Doors Down Fame Billy is now on tour with 3 Doors Down. Mastering the wheel at live production for the up and coming band www.illbreak.com. Imprint Records.
However in 1997 Brian decided to start a solo project only to find himself touring the southeast circuit with the popular alternative rock band NOZMOKING. NOZMO formed in 1997 and in 1999 Brian brought his unique playing style and original songs to their line up. The hype and popularity of NOZMO grew landing them over 200 show dates during 1999 thru 2001.
Over time, as members of NOZMOKING moved on, Brian and front man Fran, of The Love Buzzards, kept the band alive. Having many show dates and very hot vocals, NOZMO remained a very popular band. As stated by the Houston Press, "one of the best bands to ever hit the Houston music scene.
NOZMO continued to tour the Southeast gaining a larger fan base. This time among the Southeast college circuit. From LSU, Auburn University, Miss. State, USM, Ole Miss,and Georgia Tech, to the University of Southern Georgia, NOZMOKING became regulars at some of the hottest clubs in the Southeast. Including Ricks Cafe', Outback Pub , Sherlock's Pub, Spinnakers and The Blue Room, etc...
Today, Brian Scott has once emerged again with a new band and a great sound, playing the Northeast. The Brian Scott Band
