Top 40/Covers
Mark Morris & CATUNES Ok, here it is short and less sweet. Cause lets face it band bios as far as we're concerned are sugar coated, smoked screened, hyped up, bull crap about each band, that when you go and see them LIVE, you walk away thinking the best thing about that band is the person whose writing their bios...CATUNES is none of the above. Catunes has no smoke machines, no fancy light shows, no sexy back up chicks, all to take focus off what truly makes a live show an experience. And that would be just great musicians at an unimaginable level of high energy, with great lead and, back up vocals to match and surpass the original artist themselves. Catunes was voted The Best Party Band by the IMPROPER BOSTONIAN, yet high praise doesn't just sit in it's home town. Whether it's Killington, VT. Newport RI, Connecticut, New York and New Jersey... Crowds leave energized and totally drained at the same time... Catunes has the uncanny ability to wear many hats in the music field without coming off sounding cheesy. Catunes has a unique ability (mostly due part to the lead vocalist who credits himself to believe that there is no such thing as a certain vocal range... He's stage presence is a cross between Bruce Springsteen, Dave Matthews and Jim Carey. Definitely a man who seems to have had one to many Red Bulls before hitting the stage) Anyway, Catunes has an extraordinary ability to go from Ozzy Osborne to Michael Jackson, Rage Against the Machine to Stevie Wonder, The Gypsy Kings to Nickleback, Marvin Gaye to Lincoln Park. Rusted Root to Def Leopard, Al Green to AC/DC, Bon Jovi to Men at Work, Nine Inch Nails to Dave Matthews, and on and on and on. There ability to stay at a nonstop pace through out the evening is unmatchable to any band out there.(OK , maybe this is stretching it JUST a little, but we can only think of 3 or 4 bands that come out of Philly and Jersey that can match them but, I'm not gonna plug them cause this is our Bio )...But anyway, hopefully you have some idea as what to expect coming from a CATUNES gig. NO BS just real people doing what they love to do and really doing it well.Hope to see yah soon.
