Crazy Train boasts a club-ready repertoire of nearly 30 Ozzy/Black Sabbath classics and crowd favorites including “War Pigs,” “Paranoid,” “Iron Man,” “Children of the Grave,” “Fly’n High Again,” Mr. Crowley,” “Over the Mountain,” “Bark at the Moon” and, of course, “Crazy Train.”
“All we listen to is Ozzy and Sabbath, that way when it comes time for practice, and especially on stage, it’s instinct. You know it so well because you have now heard it tens of thousands of times. You just know where the inflections, where the leads go, where the breaks are.”
While they haven’t sold their souls for rock ’n’ roll quite yet, they are not getting rich off it either. They said they are doing it for the love of Ozzy and the music. And they are sparing no expense for their live show, which includes a flashing neon sign and a commissioned pair of winged Gargoyles hand-carved out of Styrofoam by sculptor Louis Charpentier.
